| The opening outing was won by Stephen M'Cafferty at a well attended outing considering the difficulties faced since the AGM. Stephens score of 34 points edged out Liam Dempsey who took the Mid section and Danny Collins who won the High. Both of these winners returned 32 while Paul Gormley was top of the Low section with 31. John M'Clory and Kevin Fennell won the Back9 and Front9 with 18 points each. The meal was taken back at the GLENOWEN and was top class as we always get from our sponsor. |  |

| The second outing of the season was again won by Stephen M'Cafferty who returned 39 points to put him well ahead in the GOY competition. Our captain Paul Mulgrew won the Low with a score of 37 and the handicap committee need to get to grips with this pair quickly. The Mid went to Oliver M'Donald on 34 and Stevie O'Brien took the High with 36 points. A great Front9 of 23 points brought the prize to Danny Graham and Pat M'Corrys 19 points won the Back9. | |

| Local knowledge made Ardglass member Brendan M'Goldrick an easy winner when the society played this course where the three new holes have made a tough course even more difficult. In the Low section another big hitter - Paul M'Quillan- took the prize while Pat M'Corry was tops in the Mid grouping. Jim M'Alister continued a run of good golf to win the High section. Stephen M'Caffertys' run of Overall wins came to a end and he had to be content with a Front9 prize and Ray O'Neill took the Back9. |  |
