| Fruithill
have now played at least 57 different courses and have visited 11
counties on their travels in Ireland. The year shown marks the first
visit to a course and strangely enough only 4 courses in Belfast
appear. Certainly the members have always been keen to travel and
Donegal was always a favourite venue for weekends and all the
Donegal courses have been weekend venues with Ballyliffin used as a
day trip as well. The courses shown in Sligo,Westmeath and Roscommon
have all been weekend venues together with Nuremore and Scotland and
the Isle of Man. Scotland and The Isle of Man were both visited
twice as was Portugal, but Spain was the most popular of the
overseas tours although the number of golfers travelling recently
has been low. Apart from the years 1986,1987,1992 and 1999 the
society has managed to include a new course every year. |
